Your numbers are in there. You still cannot see them.
Your sales, costs, and balances sit inside your accounting software, or in a spreadsheet of annual figures. Getting a clear picture means rebuilding the same statements and ratios by hand, month after month, and the picture is stale by the time it is done.
Then there is the AI question. A chatbot working from general knowledge cannot tell you anything about your business, and an answer you cannot check against your own figures is not one to act on.
What we built

- Platform
- 2diff Business, our analytics layer, built on Google Cloud Platform infrastructure. It analyzes the numbers. It is not accounting software and never does the bookkeeping.
- Data in
- Two ways in, on one product. 2diff Business connects to one accounting platform through its API (the features page below names it) and reads your financial reports, or it takes the annual figures you type in, with no accounting software required.
- Sign-in
- You sign in on your accounting software’s own site through OAuth 2.0, so we never see that password. The access tokens carry an additional application layer of authenticated encryption.
- Data flow
- We only read your reports. We never create, change, or delete anything in your accounting file.
- Storage
- Data is encrypted in transit and at rest on Google Cloud Platform. 2diff Business stores your imported history in your account, and the figures you type are saved to your account.
- The result
- Financial statements, 23 ratios, trends, a forecast, 6 valuation methods, and, on the Silver plan, an AI assistant that answers questions from your own numbers.

- Analysis, not advice. The output is analysis and observations about your numbers. It does not replace your accountant.
- An analytics layer, not accounting software. It does not keep your books, file taxes, or change your records.
- Available as custom work: if your financial data sits in another system, we can scope a build on the same platform.
