Key Features at a Glance
Dashboard
Your financial snapshot with four year-to-date numbers at the top:
- Revenue - Total income booked this year
- Net Income - Your bottom-line profit
- Expenses - Total operating costs
- Cash - Current bank balance
Below the numbers, four trend charts tell the story of the business:
- Revenue & Margins - Bars show revenue scale; lines show Gross Margin % and Net Margin %. If bars rise while margins fall, you are selling more but keeping less of every dollar.
- Balance Sheet Health - Assets vs. Liabilities bars plus a Current Ratio line. The gap between the bars is your net worth; the line shows whether you can cover near-term obligations.
- Cash - Operating Cash Flow bars plus a Cash Position line. Separates whether the business generated cash this period from what is actually in the bank.
- Growth Rates - Revenue growth % and Net Income growth % period-over-period. This is the momentum chart. Positive bars mean expansion, and the Net Income line tracking above the bars means profit is growing faster than sales.
The frequency dropdown in the sidebar switches all four charts between Annual, Quarterly, and Monthly views. See the Complete Guide for a deeper walk-through of each chart.
Financial Statements
Each statement has its own sidebar tab for direct access:
- Profit & Loss - Revenue, expenses, and net income
- Balance Sheet - Assets, liabilities, and equity
- Cash Flow - How cash moves in and out
Use the Analyze dropdown in Data Controls to switch views:
- Dollars - Standard dollar amounts
- Change ($) - Period-over-period dollar changes
- Change (%) - Period-over-period percentage changes
- Common Size - Line items as percentages of revenue or total assets
Forecast
Toggle Forecast to On in Data Controls to append projected periods to any financial statement. Choose between Level and Growth methods and set the number of future periods. You can also use the Goals method to forecast based on targets set in Goal Center.
AI Insights
Ask questions about your business in plain English:
- “What are my biggest expense categories?”
- “How is my profit margin trending?”
- “What should I be concerned about?”

Tips for Success
Start with the Dashboard
The Dashboard gives you a quick health check. If numbers look off, investigate in the detailed tabs.
Use Analyze Modes
Switch the Analyze dropdown to Change ($) or Change (%) to see period-over-period trends directly in your financial statements. Look for patterns over 6+ months.
Try AI Insights
Don’t know what to look for? Ask the AI. It analyzes your data and highlights what matters.
Compare with Common Size
Set the Analyze dropdown to Common Size to view line items as percentages. This reveals proportional changes that raw dollar amounts can hide.
