The 5-Minute BizInsights Quick Start

BizInsights needs no accounting connection. You type in your headline figures (revenue, expenses, assets, liabilities) and BizInsights gives you full financial statements, 23 ratios, trends, a forecast, and plain-language AI insights. No accounting software, no import, no setup.

This quickstart walks the login-free demo first, because it needs no signup and takes about five minutes, then shows how to move onto your own figures with a subscription.

Step 1: Open the live demo

Go to /apps/bizinsights/demo. It loads instantly, no sign-in required.

If you have no accounting software, or you just want to see how BizAnalyzer works before touching your own books, you can go from this page to a running app in under 30 seconds. The demo is preloaded with realistic sample figures so every screen has something to look at.

Step 2: Change a number and watch everything update

The Data Entry screen is the whole "input" side of BizInsights. It's a simple sheet: one column per year, headline P&L numbers, headline Balance Sheet numbers, headline Cash Flow numbers on the left; calculated totals filled in on the right.

Change any input. The statements, ratios, trends, forecast, and dashboard all update.

You type in a few headline numbers and watch the health of the business come out the other side. No spreadsheet, no software install.

Step 3: Read the analysis surfaces

Same nav as BizAnalyzer. Every analysis surface BizInsights supports:

  • Dashboard: the at-a-glance summary
  • Financial Statements: P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow (Cash Flow is derived from the two Balance Sheets)
  • Common-Size Analysis: statements as percentages
  • Ratio Analysis: the 23 tracked ratios
  • Trend Analysis: year-over-year lines and tables
  • Forecast: level, growth, or goal-based projection
  • Goal Center: track goals against actuals
  • AI Insights: ask your financials a question in plain language

BizInsights is not a stripped-down toy. It's the same analysis engine as BizAnalyzer, just fed by manual entry instead of a live accounting connection.

Step 4: Ask the AI a question

Open AI Insights in the sidebar. Type a plain-language question about the demo's numbers:

  • "How did revenue change year over year?"
  • "Which expense grew the fastest?"
  • "Is my current ratio healthy?"

Step 5: Subscribe and enter your own figures

The demo resets when you leave it, so nothing you type there is saved. To work on your own numbers:

  1. Subscribe from the BizInsights landing page, or pick BizInsights on the Apps page. It is $19.99 per month.
  2. Create your account and verify your email if you have not already, then complete payment through our secure Stripe checkout.
  3. You land back on your App Dashboard. Open the BizInsights card.
  4. The app opens on Data Entry, the same sheet layout the demo uses. Enter your own headline figures, one column per year.
  5. Your figures save to the cloud as you go, so they are there on your next visit and on your other devices.

Add a second year column when you want trends and a forecast. Everything you walked through in Steps 2 to 4 works the same way on your own numbers.
